The plan is detailed and partially outlined for all the coastal strip of Herzliya city (not including the Marina site). The plan views Herzliya’s beach front as a space with a wide and restored coastal strip that combines a variety of beaches that include tourism centers, vacation and leisure while emphasizing the unique characteristics of each section, while strengthening the connection between the city and the sea and protecting the cliff and the safety of the beach users. The plan also proposes a beach-rear that creates an urban beach front with an attractive public space as appropriate for beach towns. The Eli Landau street as the rear’s boulevard will function as a scenic boardwalk and as a street that invites walking and staying, will be connected to the beach level all through it and will be a quality public space and a base for developing touristic uses.
