Dimona integrated transportation center

Establishing a transportation center that will combine a train, buses and taxis at the entrance of Dimona and that will be of use to the residents of Dimona, Yeruham, The Bedouin diaspora, Ar’ara in the Negev, and the IDF soldiers serving in the area. The plan is initiated by Dimona’s mayor in continuum to the Be’er Sheva-Eilat railway plan in which there is an area designated for a local train station (plan no. 605-0150086).The plan proposes a bus terminal, a train, an office building, commerce and hospitality as well as a residential neighborhood. That is while matching the planning to the local climate conditions and creating planning flexibility in the proposed constructions according to the changing necessities of the city and its residents.
